Honors Award, Garden Structures/Pavements - Over $50,000
The project was a full-scale dry stone restoration of a historic rock fence at a public housing complex in Akron, OH. Complete Outdoor Installation dismantled the 170 year old stone fence and relaid it to its original footprint. They refit all existing stones and brought in hand split quarried stone to finish the top of the wall. This project helped to preserve a unique part of Akron's cultural heritage.

Merit Award, Specialty Gardens
The Japanese Garden Restoration at Stan Hywet Hall took place in Fall 2009 and Spring of 2010. Complete Outdoor Installation worked from base map drawings and historic photographs to create a historically accurate representation of the original garden from 1915. Installation included stone steps, hundreds of feet of dry stone walls, stone pathways, waterways and a waterfall feature.
