In August 2009, Zach Goebelt traveled to Camp Ripley, Minnesota to work with the Dry Stone Conservancy on a dry stone wall restoration project. The entire project consisted of 10 different masons from all over the world and lasted a total of nine weeks. Zach commited to a four week stint helping to restore this black granite rock fence built in the 1930's by the WPA. Most of the these uniquely constructed walls were in good condition but certain sections needed to be rebuilt. |
